Welcome
About The Estuary League of Friends
We are a local charity working to improve the quality of life of those in need of care, comfort and support in parts of Exeter and East Devon. This year, we are celebrating our 35th anniversary!
We provide a range of personalised services to help people lead active and independent lives including Home Help, Sitting Services, Assisted Transport, “Keep-in-Touch” Telephone Befriending and a range of Social Activities from our Topsham based community hub, Nancy Potter House. Even though COVID restrictions have lifted, we recognise that many local people still need doorstep deliveries of groceries, prescriptions, essential supplies and hot meals prepared at our very own Bradbury Café. So, whether you are isolating due to infection or simply feeling COVID cautious, please get in touch to see how we can support you to stay well at home.
If you, or someone you know, could benefit from any of our services please call us today on 01392 879009.
Services are available to people living in and around Topsham, Countess Wear, Ebford, Exton, Digby, Wonford, The Rydons, Clyst St George, Cat & Fiddle and Clyst St Mary.
“…the bottom line is if [Estuary] weren’t here my mum would be in a home. She would just give up. Whereas now she’s got something to live for, she’s got something to look forward to with the help of the Estuary League of Friends. They are fabulous all of them. I couldn’t ask for better care.” Testimonial from the son of a client.
