Volunteer

We need you!  Can you spare some time to volunteer to help others in the community?  If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Our charity was founded by local volunteers passionate about our community’s wellbeing. Volunteering makes a real difference to our community. It brings people together, creates new and lasting friendships, volunteers gain skills and experience as well as the knowledge that they have used their spare time to help others.

So, whether you are retired, between jobs, working part-time, doing your Duke of Edinburgh Award or looking to get back into work, we’d love to hear from you!  We are currently recruiting:

  • Volunteer Drivers – transporting local residents to and from appointments and providing assistance to those with poor mobility. Requires own roadworthy vehicle.
  • IT Support – assisting local residents with the basics of setting up and using iPads, tablets, smartphones, etc.
  • Hot Meal Deliveries – we are looking for volunteers to deliver freshly prepare, hot meals to people in need at lunchtime.  Requires own roadworthy vehicle.
